Charles Lewis Dahl, age 62, passed away at his home in Iola from congestive heart failure and liver disease. He was born on Oct. 19, 1962 to Lawrence and Opal (Krueger) Dahl and lived most of his life in the Big Falls area. He graduated from Marion High School and started working at Utility Tool and Body in Clintonville while still in school. He rose up the ranks there until the company closed their doors. Charlie is survived by the light of his life, his son, Kindred (Taylor) Dahl, siblings Amy VanDeest, Lawrence W. Dahl and Gretchen Dahl as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Sam the Siamese cat. He was proceeded in death by parents and sister Kathleen Dahl. Charlie also had many texting friends from all over the country as well as other countries of the world. His passion of telling the stories of his life growing up as a farm boy gave many people enjoyment and they are missed greatly. Burial of cremains with be at Big Falls Cemetery on July 26th, 2025 at 10:30 with Pastor Dale Wilson officiating.
