Janet Hewitt

Janet Avis Hewitt passed away very unexpectedly on January 3, 2026, at her home in Iola, Wisconsin. Janet was born on December 16, 1944, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Arthur J. and Dorothy M. (Curtis) Hewitt. Janet graduated from Waupaca High School in 1963.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Fountain, on July 5, 2023. She is survived by two brothers - David A. Hewitt (Sharon) of Madison, WI and John J. Hewitt (Brenda) of Waupaca, WI. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Dan (Judy) Fountain of Negaunee, Michigan.
